Cricket Wireless 5G Coverage
Cricket 5G service rides on AT&T’s own 5G network and so should be available everywhere AT&T has coverage in the United States of America. However, we advice that you enquire specifically about Cricket’s 5G coverage before making your subscription. This is because there may be areas that have spotty AT&T 5G coverage, or no coverage at all.
Cricket Wireless 5G Compatible Phones
To be able to use 5G service, you require a 5G compatible phone, router, or modem. Cricket Wireless 5G initially launched with only one compatible smartphone available on the network. This has now been increased to two. They are: Cricket Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G
The Galaxy S20+ 5G is a 2020 premium flagship and the first 5G compatible phone to be available on Cricket Wireless.
Cricket LG K92 5G
LG K92 5G is the second 5G compatible phone on Cricket Wireless. It is a mid-range product.
Can You Bring Your Own Device (BOYD) On Cricket 5G?
Unfortunately, no. Cricket says that phones brought from other carriers won’t work on their 5G network. Even unlocked devices won’t too. You have to pick one of Cricket’s 5G compatible smartphones.
Cricket Wireless 5G Tariffs
5G service is included at no additional charge with Cricket’s $60 Unlimited More plan and in all current Simply Data Plans. It comes at no extra cost to subscribers.
